Preliminary Results.

I am going to post screenshots of the first statistical results of my 2006 China Blog Survey. The “2006 China Blog Survey” was deployed on May 26th 2006 and stayed open for participation for exactly 10 weeks. It yielded a total of 3575 participants.

With an expected high drop-out rate I used about 1/6 of the answers as a valid basis for my analysis.

I closed the survey after reaching 3000 participants, which - for me - is a very satisfying number.

Right now, I am analyzing the results, results will be posted here and sent to everybody who is interested in them.

First 500 visitors

Things proceed nicely. After 6 days I have the first 500 visitors. Hopefully it stays that way.

中国博客调查 - China Blog Survey 2006 is open!

My China Online Blog Survey as part of my MA thesis at Heidelberg University is now open for participation. The survey is in Chinese and focuses on habits and expectations of the Chinese blogosphere.

Since this is the first survey done by a Western academic institution on Chinese bloggers I am most happy for any sort of encouragement.
