A real grass-root movement

Since China has updated its environmental policies signs like these are sprouting enormously in public parks all over the country.
Many thanks to Tobi K. from Shanghai 上海 for his wakeful eye!

I think that these mistakes are actually treasures. Not only because they amuse you, but also because they provide a view into the way Chinese think. Don't worry that Beijing is cleaning them. There are a lot more in other cities. And the amount is increasing tremendously as other cities become more internationalized. There are a lot for you to add on this Blog. As a Chinese, I wouldn't mind if someday you publish it in books. They may probably sell out.

The root of problem is that the mainlander chinese government did not / does not use or respect the ancient chinese languages. They use broken chinese like these and try to create more broken english carelessly again.
