It's Chinglish time on ABC Radio National.

I did a little interview with (Australian) ABC's Maria Zijlstra for her Lingua Franca program, which looks "at all aspects of language; old languages, modern languages and even invented languages."

Listen to the interview here (15 min.)

The program audio is also available for download on the Lingua Franca website.

I like your site, your serious observation of our language.
I have a big list of my self invented Chinglish:
eg: -you, such a small heart hole!
-you are truely township willed!
-this is a hook-one-missing-million situation!
- you should see justice and dare do!
哈哈哈, do you want me share more??
Cheers. I do have intention to testify to see if you are truely Chinese literate by showing the list above: if you are, you are able to work out the idiom behind them!
hahaha, a little challenge? yet a friendly one!!
