Do you know 老干妈辣酱, a very popular oil-based chili source made in China and also sold in supermarkets in US? Do you know how to translate it into Chinglish? Let me tell you. It would be “Old Fucken Mother Chili Source”. Perhaps one day, some one will email you a photo with a label that reads “Old Fucken Mother Chili Source”.
Chinglish is interesting and amusing. What about Philippinglish? That will soon be popular in China. A lot of so-called “white collar” families hire Philippino as housekeepers and English teachers for their kids. I met some Philippinos in the US and I could hardly understand what they talk about. Your website needs a new section pretty soon, which will be called: Philippinglish.

Hi olr! I must say that your book had really, really make my day after I saw it at the humor section in Barnes & Nobles bookstore here in the US. I was lining up at the cashier and your book caught my attention. I started flipping a few pages and I was laughing so loud that people around the cashier area was looking at me wondering what is wrong with this woman? I had to buy your book and share it with my husband. Both of us loves reading Chinglish, whenever we are in the oriental grocery stores, we will look for packaging from China on how it was translated directly from Chinese language. We had a good laugh about it!
Keep up with the excellent work on searching Chinglish around the globe!
